I was given the opportunity to borrow a boat from one of my friends so I could go on a fishing trip with my son this coming weekend. I was so happy because I have been planning to go on a fishing trip with my son for a long time now, and it should be as good as I imagine it since we can stay in the boat anytime and as long as we want, until a problem was given to me… I will have to move it myself.

At first, I thought it would be just easy since I own a truck and it should be as easy as a drive in the park, until I found out that my friend’s boat transporter is busted and it would take weeks before it can get fixed. He said if I’m willing to wait that long he would still let me use the boat, but due to my excitement, I immediately told my son that we will go camping this coming weekend as soon as I knew that I could borrow the boat. I was checking some services over the internet if I could find some people who could do the move for me until I stumbled upon Hat Creek Carriers. They gave me a nice deal and I guess we will not have to worry anymore since they move just about everything, even RV! I guess I’ll just have to find out if they are really good by weekend time.

I’ve been really back and forth right now what to give my wife for a wedding anniversary present since a lot of stuff and ideas just keep on getting in to my head. I was asking for some suggestions and I was given a lot of options to take, but I’m not really sure what I want and our anniversary is less than a month away. Right now, money is not really a problem because I’m pretty much willing to get anything right about now since it will be for my loved one. Some friends told me we should take a trip to some place that we can be alone with each other, away from work, stress and negativity of the city, while some said I should give her something that she could use or wear, more specifically, jewelry so that way, she could keep it and she can have a beautiful remembrance of this anniversary.

With those suggestions, I’m a little bit leaning towards giving her some charms for our anniversary, since I really do want her to remember this. My friend told me I should give her one of those diamond stud earrings since it’s one of the most precious ones in the market right now. She said it would really make my wife remember this year since diamonds are really extravagant. But then again, I remember her saying one time that she likes to have one of those blue topaz jewelry, similar to what her grandmother used to have. She said she really loved looking at it when her grandma still had it but sadly, it got lost when they went on a safari trip when she was still young. My dilemma now is what to choose. Do I give her something really expensive or do I give her less-expensive but with more meaning to it…

I was on the lookout for a new clock for my sister’s newly built house. Kind of like a housewarming gift since I know that most of the time, she get’s late for appointments and gatherings, and I think this should give a good laugh for everyone of us. But of course, I do not want to give her just any clocks. So I asked a friend to help out and he said if I have the budget, try looking for clocks made by either Seth Thomas clock or Howard Miller clock.

I wasn’t really familiar with those so I tried checking out the internet and searched for the names. Indeed, they sell the best clocks and as I was looking for something to give my sister, I ended up wanting one myself, especially the Seth Thomas mantle clock. It was well-made and the designs are really satisfying. I ended up buying two clocks, one for me, and the other one for my sister. The selections that they have are really fantastic. Even the Howard Miller clocks are great. They have every type of clocks available in there that they even have the most unexpected designs. I guess I now have an idea what gift I will be giving my mother this yuletide season.
